Well, Robbie started treading the boards at the age of thirteen, as a member of the Highbury Childrens Theatre.
It was only when he went to secondary school, that he was given the support and backing from the guy he always call's his 'mentor', Tony Hadley, Head of Drama at the Arthur Terry School, Sutton Coldfield.
Robbie played various roles at the school, including, Bugsy Malone and Tony in West Side Story to name but two.
Following the performance of West Side Story, the school made it to the finals of the 1990 Barclays Awards for Youth Performance. Robbie won one of the Outstanding Performance Awards, in what he describes as one of the best night's of his life.
Robbie always enjoyed the amateur stage circuit in Sutton Coldfield, and it was during one of those shows, that he was spotted by an agent and signed up as a professional entertainer.
Robbie has appeared on some of the countries best stages, including, The Birmingham Hippodrome, The Palace Theatre, London, The Birmingham Rep, and The Queen Elizabeth Halls, London.
Robbie has toured many parts of the country, with seasons in Blackpool, the North East, Scotland, Wales but by far his most enjoyable was in 2002, in Skegness, where he got to work with one of his good friends, and also one of his favourite keyboard players, Chris Merry.
Robbie does a regular winter season for his agent Pat Terry, in her Inter City Roadshow. Traditional Pantomime and full cabaret shows give Robbie a full and very enjoyable festive season with some of the area's top entertainers.
